Easter Traditions

March Blog Hop:

Easter Traditions

The year is going super fast and it is already Easter time again. Our traditions at this time have changed as our children have grown. Today I shall share with you a couple of our family traditions.

If you have come to this Blog Hop from Wendy's Blog then you are on the right track.

Today I decided to use the Penelope Workshop Your Way. I really love these workshops as I have all the creative bits and pieces, in one place plus an ideas sheet to help me be creative!! (no I do not have a lot of ideas on my own!!) This double page spread was so simple to do:

The bottom strip is place an inch off the bottom of the page. So I used the green strip to measure an inch and keep my line straight. After that, it was just a case of adding each row on top of the previous one. Placed the photos on and choose slightly different journal boxes which suited the photos and amount of journalling I wanted to do!! The title I used Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, which worked so nicely.

I am not one who likes to place triangle edges on my page, but I did have lots of fun using the Pixie and Thistle wash tape. It was just so easy such a lovely affect to lift the page. I also use a sticker from the Penelope Complements to embellish the page. This page is about my children's Easter Hat Parade. They both had lots of fun creating their hats and then proudly wearing them in the parade.

For the page on the right, it was very much the same as the left. Accept I used some of the pennants and a hearted arrow from Penelope Complements. As these are vellum die cuts I had to be careful which adhesive I used. The Bonding Memories Glue Pen was just the right adhesive to keep them on the page and not to be seen by anyone!! We so love to go away camping at easter!! This one in 2015 was a little adventurous with injuries and tent. Come along to my crop to see it in full detail.

I do hope you have enjoyed reading about these pages. Feel free to visit my website, where you can join this months order to purchase any of the products used today. Or you can also see the amazing offer on Stamps - buy 2 and receive one for free. (only for the month of March)
